Care and Cleaning To keep your AeroPress performing at its best, eject used coffee immediately after brewing and store with the seal fully retracted through the chamber—this prevents compression and extends seal life. The seal has no adhesive, so you can remove and replace it easily whenever needed. Daily maintenance is effortless: a quick rinse is usually all you need since the plunger naturally cleans the chamber during brewing. For deeper cleaning, pop it in the dishwasher (top rack only) or hand wash with warm soapy water. We suggest occasionally removing the seal for a thorough wash inside and out. If the chamber becomes sticky, a vinegar rinse will restore it.
